There are many cases that before supported and allied by the U.S., later made a big threat. There was United States at behind of bringing of Saddam Hussein to power against Iran after 6 months, the Islamic revolution; which condoning the Halabja massacre for strengthen of the Kurdish Federation, preparing the ground to attack Kuwait for the invasion of Iraq.

There is only one way to stop Iran, Turkiye and Syria in the region: It is the establishment of the United Kurdish Federations which has strengthened In both the central governments and their autonomous areas. Therefore, they need a Turkish Army which not make a sound for Kurdish federations in the region.

U.S., Britain and Israel’s most important enemy in the region is Iran. West needs a new military power to use against Iran. A military action whom Israel will sign against Iran is very great harm the U.S. and Western interests. US and Western states knows that this is necessary to improve Sunni – Shia conflict, like they do in Iraq Since last years. United States and Great Britain consider that a Middle East Alliance by leadership of Turkiye and supporting Arab states would create a major obstacle against Iran. They are scheduled an alliance of Sunni Ottoman against Iran, Russia and China.

The failure of this plan is very important as well : Political Islamist movement which came from the National Line (Milli Gorus) is not anti-Iranian. The lines of Shiite political Islamists after Khomeini and the Turkish political Islamists after the September 12 are very close together.

U.S. and Britain do not have a way out at this point. Iran is moving in its own way. Turkiye which has strengthened is a significant threat for Western in the Middle East and Asia. Therefore, they maintain an optimist policy with the U.S. and the West; on the other hand They don’t completely abandoned from Iran in the context of the optimist policy. Moreover, They have preferred to keep them back when there are two heroes, such as Turkiye and Brazil that has emerged to protect the Iran.
Brazil is opposed to making heavier sanctions against Iran, because of growing economic relations with Iran increasingly in recent years. There is no another important reason for Brazil beyond the ocean which has not neighborhood relations with Iran
Turkiye which is most the important country leading the Barter Agreement provides realization of it. Turkiye explicitly opposes that any negative sanctions against Iran which has neighborhood and economic relations and energy agreements with Turkiye. Turkiye is at the forefront of this agreement, because, Turkiye can encounter big losses after sanction decision which will be taken by the United Nations Security Council.
In this sense, Turkiye has made a big mistake. The whole world knows that Turkiye can suffer after economic sanctions which will be applied against Iran. Turkiye can indicate neutrality and specify not fulfilling of possible sanction decisions in this context by citing good neighborhood relations and economic agreements. But it did not get this and led to an agreement is ambiguous of the results by an attitude nearly as well in Iran.
With the Barter Agreement (which executing date is not clear yet), Iran will be entrusted to Turkiye 1200 kg uranium in the hands of highly enriched at a rate of 3.5% in one month. In response, the U.S., Russia and China will provide 120 kg of enriched fuel at a rate of 20% for Iran’s nuclear research reactor in a year.
The Barter Agreement does not have an article about to cease all nuclear activities of Iran. However, the U.S. wants it. Therefore, Iran will continue its efforts and will win time again. Such a period, the Soviet is supporting Marxists and Kurdish groups in Turkey and the United States is supporting the Nationalist and especially Islamist groups. The goal of the Soviet Union was then dragged Turkiye into a civil war. The only trump card of The United States to stop the Soviets was that the Turkish Armed Forces seized management. For this reason, the United States has mobilized their civilian supporters which prepare Turkiye a military coup and correspondingly has accelerated the conflict environment. Eventually, military coup happened on 12 September 1980 and Turkey was saved from the devastation target of the Soviet Union.

September 12 period, the nationalist and leftist groups which are against the United States purged and were tried over the years. However, Islamist groups were supported and opened the front of them. U.S. needed Islamist groups in the two points. First, the strengthening of the Sunni Islamism against Shiite Iran. Secondly, the establishment and educating of the new radical Islamist organizations to fight in Afghanistan. The United States was successful in both subjects. U.S. policy of Turkey and Islam were changed after Soviet Union collapsed in 1989. U.S. has developed its cooperation with Turkey’s moderate Islamist groups and had step this way to Islamic lands such as Central Asia and Africa which can not enter formerly. In addition, radical Islamist groups were considered enemies, and by showing them as a threat, strengthened relations with countries such as Turkey, Egypt, Gulf countries and Saudi Arabia.

This course will not result in an Islamist victory. U.S. will be lost forever most powerful ally in the region.
